H&T Presspart, the world’s leading manufacturer of components for metered dose inhalers (MDIs), will be exhibiting at this year’s Drug Delivery to the Lungs (DDL 27) Conference in Edinburgh from the 6-8 December 2017.

During this year’s conference attendees will be able to visit the H&T Presspart team on stand 214 to discuss our range of respiratory drug delivery components, as well as a number of recently launched products including the PowdAir Plus dry powder inhaler and the eMDI smart connected inhaler.

PowdAir Plus is a capsule-based dry powder inhaler which is ideal for developing markets because of its advanced simplicity, ease of use and affordability. Whilst the eMDITM is the first the first market-ready, fully embedded and connected metered-dose inhaler (eMDITM) designed to improve patients’ adherence to medication doses, encourages self-care, and help health professionals maintain real-time monitoring.

H&T Presspart’s Inhalation Product Technoogy Centre will also be presenting a poster on ‘An improved end-of-life performance for suspension pMDIs with H&T Presspart’s plasma treated canisters’ during this year’s conference. The plasma process for treating the internal surfaces of metered-dose inhaler (MDI) canisters ensures the active drug content doesn’t stick to the canister wall. This solves a problem present in many other MDI cans and ensures the patient gets the correct dose.

Drug Delivery to the Lungs (DDL 27) is held annually in Edinburgh, Scotland and provides an annual forum for scientists, academics, clinicians, regulatory and industry specialists involved in developing medicines for inhalation.

DDL 2017 will have five themed sessions each with a combination of invited and submitted lectures given by experts in the field of inhalation and students working to advance respiratory science.

This year’s DDL 27 runs from the 6-8 December at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. If you would like to arrange a meeting with the H&T Presspart team during the conference to discuss any of our products or services please contact H&T Presspart
