H&T Presspart will once again be exhibiting at the Drug Delivery to the Lungs (DDL 28) conference being held in Edinburgh, Scotland from the 12-14 December.

Located on stand 122, H&T Presspart will be showcasing a full range of respiratory drug delivery components including MDI cans, actuators, and our range of MDI dose counters and indicators.

H&T Presspart’s plasma technology– manufactured under license from Portal Medical Ltd- for treating the internal surfaces of MDI cans is set to be one of the highlights for visitors at DDL 28.

The plasma treatment inhibits the active drug content from sticking to the wall ensuring the patient gets the correct dose every time. The plasma technology improves the surface energy performance of an MDI canister, which enhances drug stability in formulations where interactions with the aluminium substrate can lead to product degradation and reduced shelf-life.

Visitors to our stand will be able to see how our plasma treatment affects the internal surface of an MDI can with our dyne test kit. It is one not to be missed, so make sure you visit us for our demonstration.

DDL provides an annual forum for scientists, academics, clinicians, regulatory and industry specialists involved in developing medicines for inhalation.

The exhibition this year will have five themed sessions each with a combination of invited and submitted lectures given by experts in the field of inhalation and students working to advance respiratory science.
