Assistant Laboratory Analyst

Assistant Laboratory Analyst


A Full-time Assistant Lab Analyst is required to assist the Senior Lab Analyst as required in a busy QC lab. Working in a small team you will carry out various tasks including performing – raw material, in process and finished product tests; often focusing on product cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine (batch release, raw material & in-process) laboratory tests in a timely fashion
  • Perform routine environmental & process monitoring tests
  • Calibrate & maintain routine laboratory equipment to a high standard
  • Perform batch release activities
  • Maintain a high standard of GMP/GLP and housekeeping disciplines

Key Capabilities:

  • Observant with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Logical with a methodical approach to work. Accurate when taking measurements and recording figures
  • A team player demonstrating a positive approach, with the confidence to be able to communicate ideas & suggestions in order to achieve a team goal
  • A self-starter, who can prioritise & work unsupervised.

Education / Training / Knowledge:

  • A science background with experience within a quality control, analytical or development laboratory
  • Good numeric & written skills
  • Good computer skills particularly with regard to using MS Office software
