Presspart Doubles its Volume of Deep-Drawn Speciality Metal Components
Presspart, a division of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group, will be showcasing its latest deep-drawn metal components at the International Subcontract Manufacturing Show, Subcon 2010, held in Birmingham, UK, from 8-10 June on stand D3. Presspart is a specialist supplier of metal precision parts for a wide variety of industries and applications – from electronics to utilities, heating and ventilation.
The company recently secured two major new contracts with partner companies that will result in the company doubling its Speciality manufacturing volume in 2010, compared with 2009. “We are very excited about working with our new customers,” said Graham Clark, Managing Director of Presspart Blackburn. “It reflects our focus on innovation and continuous development which, ultimately, allows us to fulfil our customers’ needs from deep-drawn components.”
Presspart’s specialist production processes include extremely long draws, ironed walls, multiple piercings and complex forms. Its capabilities extend to products from many different materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, nickel, inconel and galfan.
