Presspart’s deep-drawn components draw visitors at Subcon 2009

Presspart, a division of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group, reported great interest in its inspiring new image, which was unveiled to visitors at the International Subcontract Manufacturing Show, Subcon, in Birmingham (UK) last month. The highly successful event was boosted by a 30 per cent increase invisitor numbers compared with 2008, despite current economic pressures on the manufacturing industry.

Presspart has specialised for over 35 years in using deep-drawn technology to manufacture high quality, high volume, metal components that require specialist production to precise standards. A range of its special-purpose components were exhibited at the show, attracting visitors working in a variety of industries and applications – from electronics to heating and ventilation.

In addition, Presspart has announced that Mr Peter Thomas of DEUTZ is the lucky winner of an iPod touch, following the on-stand prize draw.

“I was really surprised when Presspart contacted me to say I’d won their competition,” said Mr Thomas.“I went to Subcon to find out the latest market developments but never expected to come back with an iPod touch too!”

“We were delighted with how well the show went,” added Sam Bonney, Speciality Division Sales Manager. “There was a real buzz around the exhibition and we’re looking forward to returning to Subcon in 2010.”
