Presspart and DH Industries Bring a Breath of Fresh Air to RDD 2010
Presspart, the world’s leading provider of specialist metal and plastic components to the pharmaceutical industry, and DH Industries, world leaders in the provision of machinery and filling machines to the pharmaceutical industry, hosted a special golf competition for 28 of their customers at the recent Respiratory Drug Delivery (RDD) 2010 conference in Orlando, Florida. The annual scientific conference, which took place from 25-29 April, included in-depth discussions of current issues surrounding aerosol drug delivery, and progress in drug development.
Presspart and DH Industries invited delegates to attend the golf event as part of the conference’s recreational day. They provided an entertaining morning of competitive golf for players of various skill levels - including four who had never previously played - followed by a drinks reception and presentation of trophies. Prize winners included Sergio Monti (VARI) for “The Kodak moment”; Francesca Buttini (University of Parma) for “The longest drive”; Paul Sullivan (DH Industries) for “Nearest the pin”; Team 2 (Julian Hemy, Richard Yarwood, Gerallt Williams) for “Most honest score”. Team 4 (Paul Sullivan, Craig Davies-Cutting, Juliet Po and Dominique Hibon) were awarded overall competition winners.
