Presspart's pioneering pen refills come to Paperworld 2009
Presspart, a division of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group, will be exhibiting at Paperworld 2009, Frankfurt, for the first time. Presspart will demonstrate its market-leading range of nickel silver pen refills and brass and stainless steel custom-made components on stand 87, walkway H, hall 3.1, from 31 January-3 February.
Presspart has specialised in using high precision, deep drawn technology to manufacture high quality metal components for over 30 years. The company pioneered the use of this technology for pen refills, bringing considerable efficiency improvements to the method without jeopardising quality. Presspart’s high-tech facilities can rapidly provide millions of pen refill shells, nib adaptors and custom-developed components, offering considerable cost savings over traditional, more labour-intensive techniques, such as machining and swaging. The specialist technology also allows complex features to be performed on the press, eliminating costly secondary operations and processes.
