Presspart Names Leo Shi as Asia-Pacific Sales Manager
Presspart, a division of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group and the world’s leading provider of specialist metal and plastic components to the pharmaceutical industry, is proud to announce and welcome Mr Leo Shi as its new Asia-Pacific Sales Manager. Mr Shi will be responsible for Presspart’s increasing Asia-Pacific customer base and growth strategy within the region.
Mr Shi joins the Presspart team from H&T Battery Components, also a division of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group, where he served as Key Account Manager for over six years. Colin Watling, Chairman of Presspart comments, “We are delighted to welcome Mr Shi – his experience and enthusiasm will be a great asset to the Presspart team. The appointment of Mr Shi within the Aisa-Pacific region provides customers with a regional contact and also supports Presspart’s global growth strategy.”
Educated at Shanghai Fudan University, Mr Shi majored in Polymer Material and Engineering. Prior to H&T Battery Components, he has held positions with Tyco Electronics (formally Raychem) and Thermometrics. In both positions, Mr Shi successfully increased market share on a geographical and revenue basis. Mr Shi comments, “The combination of my commercial and technical experience will ensure customers receive a truly value added service.
