Extremely long draws, ironed walls, multiple piercings and complex forms are just an example of Presspart’s deep-drawn product range. Products can be deep-drawn from a range of metals including aluminium, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, nickel, inconel and galfan.
Our ability to manufacture parts that have traditionally been manufactured by other processes, such as turning, offers many benefits to our customers:
- Less material is used in the deep drawing process thereby reducing material waste and ultimately cost
- The quality of a deep-drawn product is often superior compared to other manufacturing processes
- Complex designs often not possible with other processes can be achieved with deep-drawing
- Batch-to-batch repeatability ensures consistency in the production of components
While we specialise in high volume production, we also have the capability to handle bespoke and small batch projects.
