Presspart Confirm Attendance at Drug Delivery to the Lung Conference 2014 (DDL25)
Presspart, the global leading supplier of respiratory drug delivery device components, has once again confirmed their attendance as an exhibitor at the upcoming Drug Delivery to the Lungs Conference (DDL25) 2014 in Edinburgh, Scotland, on the 10-12 December.
Over the three days, as well as the exhibition, the DDL conference will include a number of workshops focusing on a variety of topics within drug delivery to the lungs. There will also be the scientific posters for viewing, as well as plenty of opportunities to network at what is the last major exhibition for the industry before the holiday season.
As in previous year’s Presspart will be exhibiting its full range of pharmaceutical components for respiratory drug delivery including metered-dose inhaler canisters, metered-dose inhaler actuators as well as pharmaceutical dispensing actuators for oral, topical and aural use.
Presspart will also be taking the opportunity at DDL25 to promote its Inhalation Product Technology Centre (IPTC) which was launched earlier in the year. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the Inhalation Product Technology Centre, its capabilities and functions, and how it will benefit the customers of Presspart.
Pressparts sales team will also be on hand to explain the advantages of Presspart’s revolutionary sub-micron plasma process for coating and treating the internal surfaces of metered-dose inhaler canisters. The new Presspart Plasma coating improves the surface energy performance of an MDI canister, thus helping to prevent the active content of drug formulation sticking to the canister wall. This ensures that the patient receives the prescribed dose and solves an inherent problem present within many of today’s metered-dose inhalers.
Drug Delivery to the Lung 2015 (DDL25) will once again be held in the Lennox suite, which is part of the newly built extension at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) and the conference runs from 10-12 December 2014
